We may share your personal data with other properties owned by Linus Entertainment: Stony Plain Records, True North Records, The Children’s Group, Silverwave, Solid Gold Records, The Mozart Effect Live, The Best Playlists Ever, Divergent Recordings and Spring Hill Records, as well as the Independent Digital Licensing Agency aka IDLA Associated Label Distribution, under applicable data protection law and, where necessary, references in this Privacy Policy to “Linus Entertainment” or “we” will be deemed to be references to all entities for such purpose.
As used in this Privacy Policy, “Linus Entertainment Group of Companies” includes all entities Linus Entertainment Inc controls, is controlled by or is under common control with, including subsidiaries, joint ventures or other entities in whom Linus Entertainment has a substantial ownership interest.

For example, if you log in to our site using your Facebook account and choose to allow Facebook to share your profile with us, we may collect that information. Information we receive from Connected Accounts includes email address, first and last name, location (hometown and country), gender, date of birth, likes, posts or other social activity. If you are applying for a job at Linus Entertainment, we may use information you provide to communicate with third parties regarding your application to the extent permissible by law, including to verify your credentials, work history, references, conduct background checks, or other job application-related purposes.

For clarity, if you are a Linus Entertainment Group of Companies artist, and the Site pertains to royalty payments and your commercial relationship with Linus Entertainment, then Linus shall only use your information collected from such Site to facilitate royalty payments and Linus Entertainment’s management of its commercial relationship with you and as otherwise as agreed in your artist agreement with Linus.

Web Beacons
We, or our third party partners, may employ a software technology called web beacons (also known as web bugs, clear gifs or pixels) which helps us understand what content is effective, for example by counting the number of users who have visited these pages, and to understand usage patterns. California residents have certain rights regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and sale of their personal data. As defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act, we engage in industry-standard advertising business practices that may be considered a sale. We do not knowingly sell personal data related to children under 16 years of age. Linus Entertainment has sold personal data in the last 12 months in the following ways:
By allowing advertising networks we partner with to place cookies or other tracking technologies through our sites;
By sharing hashed or pseudonymized identifiers with advertising networks to create audiences for use in online advertising.

How to Opt Out and Other Privacy Choices
There are two categories of personal information Linus Entertainment may have about you which are not connected:
1. Name, email or physical address, purchase history, or other information that identifies you (“Profile Information”). To opt out of the sale of your Profile Information, designate an authorized representative, make a general privacy request, or for more information, Contact the Linus Entertainment Privacy Office or email us at info@linusentertainment.com.
2. Interactions with Linus Entertainment Group of Companies websites, stores, or apps that use identifiers that cannot directly identify you (“Cookie Data”). To opt out of the sale of Cookie Data use the cookie consent tools available on our sites. Look for a banner, link, and/or button with the text “Cookie Choices.”
Linus Entertainment may verify requests regarding Profile Information by confirming that you control the email address associated with your personal information. If necessary, and taking into account available technology, security and privacy concerns, and the burden on our business, we reserve the right to take additional steps or require additional information to verify your request.
You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.
Other California Privacy Rights
You may opt out of having your personally identifiable information shared with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes by Contacting the Linus Entertainment Privacy Office.
Do-Not-Track Signals and Similar Mechanisms. Some web browsers may transmit “do-not-track” signals to the websites and other online services with which a user communicates. There is no industry standard that governs what, if anything, websites should do when they receive these signals. Linus currently does not take action in response to these signals.
This section of this Privacy Policy applies only if you use the Site from a country that is a Member State of the European Economic Area, and supplements the information in this Privacy Policy.
Legal Basis for Data Processing: We process personal data for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, as described above. Our legal basis to process personal data includes processing that is: necessary for the performance of the contract between you and us (for example, to provide you with the services you request and to identify and authenticate you so you may use the Site); necessary to comply with legal requirements (for example, to comply with applicable accounting rules and to make mandatory disclosures to law enforcement); necessary for our legitimate interests (for example, to manage our relationship with you and to improve the Site); and based on consent by our customers (for example, to communicate with you about our products and services and provide you with marketing information), which may subsequently be withdrawn at any time (by using preference settings in emails or on our Sites, contacting the Linus Privacy Office, or emailing us as set out in the Contact section) without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Our automated decision making capabilities include logic that attempts to identify artists, music, communications, products, or offers that we believe may interest you. By using this logic, it helps us personalize your interactions with Linus Entertainment Group of Companies and Linus Entertainment artists. For you, this means that you may see online advertisements, direct marketing communications (if you have subscribed), or other advertising or marketing messages or special offers based on your activity on our Sites or interactions with Linus Entertainment Group of Companies or our third party partners.
In some instances, you may be required to provide us with personal data for processing as described above, in order for us to be able to provide you to use all the features of the Site.
International transfers
Our sharing your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, may involve transferring your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the EEA, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring, where required by law, at least one of the following safeguards is implemented:
